Today was kind a pick them up the easy way kind of day. Picked up Liebre Mountain, Cerro Noroeste, Brush Mountain, San Emigdio Mountain and Tecuya Mountain. All were pretty much drive up a forest road, and the peak was pretty close by. Only 4 miles and about 1100 of vertical gain for today, but was able to check a bit off the list, so all in all a good day. Driving forest roads though can sure get bumpy!
Anyway, it's that time of the year again, the second quarter is here, and so these are the stats for 6 months.
38 peaks - 28 HPS and 10 LPS
241.01 miles
62,275 feet of vertical gain - 11.795 miles
Almost to my original goal of 44, and over a third on my way to the new goal of 100. We will be going after White Mountain on July 4th, my first Desert Peak (DPS). How excting! Take care until next time, and ... PEACE!
